Of Sunrise Walks
I am fortunate enough that work takes me travelling to remote corners of India. Corners that are only accessible by long walks that start well before sunrise. Walks that give you time to take in scenes like this.
Orissa, India. ๐ท

Orion
The Orion/M42 Nebula. Shot using my regular Fuji X-T20 with an old 85mm lens, with no tracker or guide. Processed using Siril and Affinity Photo. Must say I am quite pleased with the result, although I think a minimum of 200mm is best for deep sky imaging. ๐ท

The Flower Seller
One of the things I miss doing most these days is going to the railway station, camera in hand to capture everday scenes.
On a bright November morning, this flower seller says prayers to the sun before starting his day selling his wares to commuters. ๐ท

Staged Mono
I like the way this series is shaping up. I think I might just invest a bit more time in processing them and making prints available. ๐ท

Stage Mono
This evening it poured rain, but before that the light was just absolutely gorgeous.
iPhone portrait mode with the Stage Light Mono setting, a piece of foil to deflect the sun just a bit, steady hands and a dozen tries to get it right.

Saul Leiter on Confusion
I like it when one is not certain what one sees. When we do not know why the photographer has taken a picture and when we do not know why we are looking at it, all of a sudden we discover something that we start seeing. I like this confusion.
